Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your participation in the affiliate program (the “Program”) offered by Shaun Products (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By applying to and participating in the Program, you (“Affiliate,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
1. Program Overview
The Program allows individuals and entities to earn commissions by referring new customers to Shaun Products’s products/services. Affiliates will be provided with unique tracking links to monitor referred sales.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid South African bank account for payouts.
- Agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- Not engage in any fraudulent or unethical activities.
Shaun Products reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.
3. Commission Structure
As an Affiliate, you will earn a commission of 3% (three percent) on the net sales value of products/services purchased by customers you refer, provided the sale is successfully completed and not subject to a refund or chargeback.
- Net Sales Value refers to the total amount paid by the customer after any discounts, taxes, shipping fees, or other charges have been deducted.
- Commissions are calculated only on sales that are successfully tracked through your unique affiliate link.
4. Payout Threshold
Commissions will be held until your accrued, approved commission balance reaches a minimum of R300 (Three Hundred South African Rand). Payouts will only be processed once this threshold is met.
5. Payout Process
- Payout Currency: All payouts will be made in South African Rand (ZAR).
- Payout Method: Payouts will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the South African bank account you provide during registration.
- Payout Schedule: Once your accrued commission balance reaches the R300 threshold, payouts will typically be processed within [e.g., 15-30] business days of the end of the month in which the threshold was met.
- Taxes: You are solely responsible for any and all taxes, duties, or other fees associated with the commissions earned through the Program. Shaun Products will not be responsible for any tax withholding or reporting on your behalf.
6. Referral Tracking
- Tracking Links: You will be provided with unique affiliate links to track referrals. It is your responsibility to ensure that your links are correctly implemented.
- Cookie Duration: A cookie will be placed on the referred customer’s browser for [e.g., 30 days] after they click your link. If the customer makes a purchase within this period, the sale will be attributed to you.
- Last Click Attribution: In cases where a customer clicks multiple affiliate links from different affiliates, the last clicked link before the purchase will receive the commission.
7. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates are strictly prohibited from:
- Engaging in any form of spamming (e.g., unsolicited emails, forum posts).
- Using misleading or deceptive advertising practices.
- Bidding on Shaun Products’s brand name or variations thereof in search engines.
- Using automated tools or software to generate clicks or sales.
- Making false or exaggerated claims about Shaun Products products/services.
- Engaging in self-referral (purchasing products/services through your own affiliate link).
- Any activity that could harm the reputation of Shaun Products.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of any unpaid commissions.
8. Termination
Shaun Products reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or inactivity.
You may terminate your participation in the Program at any time by notifying us in writing.
Upon termination, any unpaid commissions below the R300 payout threshold will be forfeited. If your commissions exceed the threshold at the time of termination, they will be paid out during the next scheduled payout cycle, provided no breach of terms has occurred.
9. Limitation of Liability
Shaun Products will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of revenue, profits, or data) arising in connection with this Agreement or the Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising with respect to this Agreement and the Program will not exceed the total commissions paid or payable to you under this Agreement.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shaun Products, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in the Program, including but not limited to your breach of this Agreement or your violation of any applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms
Shaun Products reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website or by sending an email. Your continued participation in the Program after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in South Africa.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By applying to and participating in the Shaun Products Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
